Foodsploits!

Here are the ground rules about the way this is going to work.

  1. Definitions*
    • Foodsploit: This is a food related exploit. Generally speaking, this will refer to cooking or preparing food. This is something that you accomplish, not something you find.
    • Foodsploration: This is the trying of some new food. Be as loose or as precise as you want as to what constitutes new. If it feels new, it is.
    • Foodsploiration: I have a feeling no one is going to be able to distinguish this from the previous. It’s much more clear when you say it aloud. This is when you take action (i.e. cook) to try something that you’ve never had before. If you have had it, but this is your first time cooking it, it’s just a foodsploit.
  2. Foodsploit posting rules:
    • Food must be named (even if you have to make it up).
    • Should detail ingredients. Should try and give a food versus “nutrient” factor (from Michael Pollan’s definitions.
    • Should try and detail cooking times and factors.
    • Include cleanup time. Let’s pretend this is actually going to happen, for now.
  3. Foodsploration posting rules:
    • Since this isn’t what I’m up to right now, this’ll have to be updated next time I eat new food.
  4. Foodsploiration posting rules:
    • Follow both sets of above rules as best as possible

Expect this page to change as I refine the rules. This will NOT be a static page.
