NPR sucks at everything that’s important
The latest evidence. Twice, they manage to spout or let someone spout the republican line of “oh, we have to let the poor telecoms off the hook for their lawbreaking, it just wouldn’t be FAIR to ask them to defend themselves after they broke the law…” but not ONCE do they mention the consequences of retroactive immunity for breaking the law, not ONCE do they mention that FISA already has provisions for short term actions in good faith, and not ONCE do they mention the long-term consequences of allowing congress to allow people to break the law as long as they’re well connected. Such bullshit.
I’m so mad I could…I don’t even know. I’m ready to get out in the street.
