Side note about the website
I desperately need to implement a captcha. I am sick of all the spam that I’m getting, and the fact that I get way more visits from spam sites than from legitimate folks. Bah, humbug. It all gets caught by my filters, but DAMN, I’d like to be able to get a realistic picture of who is visiting my site for the purpose of, you know, READING it?

You should use Akismet Spam Filter plugin for WordPress. It’s done a marvelous job in catching the spam that was being posted in my WP install.

I DO use akismet. It does block all the spam very nicely (do you see any?) What it doesn’t do is prevent all the spammers from coming to my site 50 or so a day and leaving the spam to be blocked, which jacks up my visitor logs and makes it hard to see how many people are actually coming here to read.

It’s always a good thing to have old friends reading your site, and laughing in agreement, as for the picture, I think I have one on myspace.com. Take care, Josh
