Floors are DONE!

So, the floors are completely done, save for the smell of the polyurethane fading from the house (which, I fear, will take some time).

And they look, well, fantastic. :-)

My thanks to Ron Welzbacher, the man who finished my floors for a very reasonable price. Lend me a comment if you happen to be looking for someone to do your floors in the St. Loius area, and I’ll email you his contact info. He rocks. As does Barry of Bear Moon Studios, who recommended Ron.

Ok, so those were the final sand before the first coat of polyurethane.
These next are the first coat of polyurethane.

    wow, sean! they look fabulous… it makes your house look so much better (having seen the house before)…. i can’t wait to see them in person. (and obviously you too, but the post was about the floors)

    Yeah, its pretty sweet. So how do you feel about helping replace the furniture? ;-)
